The Characteristics of Fire Retardant Workwear Made of Meta Aramid

There are two kinds of fire retardant workwear.One is inherent fire retardant,the other is durable fire retardant. The fabric of  inherent fire retardant means the fiber or the yarn has the capacity of fire retardant.It can bear countless of washing.While the fabric of durable fire retardant has no intrinsic capacity of fire retardant.The fabric is made by fire retardant treatment.The capacity will be weaken after washing and washing.Now we will introduce the characteristics of fire retardant workwear made of meta aramid.

1. Meta aramid fiber is a kind of heat resistant and long-term flame retardant fiber, so the workwear made of meta aramid has the characteristics of high strength, high wear resistance, low shrinkage, stable chemical structure, corrosion resistance of acid and alkali and organic chemicals.

2. The workwear made of meta aramid has good dimensional stability.At 250℃ its thermal shrinkage rate is only 1%. It does not melt, no droplets, no toxic gas when it is burning.

3. It starts to decompose over 400℃. When it is decomposed, the fabric of becomes thickness.It can isolate heat transfer without cracking at a temperature of 900℃ -- 1500℃.  The workwear made of meta aramid is light in weight, elastic, breathable, soft and comfortable to wear.

4. The workwear made of meta aramid can be washed arbitrarily while its function is unchanged due to the inherent fire retardant fiber.

5. The fiber also can be mixed with some other fiber such as para aramid which can improve the strength of the fabric or anti-static which can improve the anti-static of the fabric.

6. The fabric can also made treatment of waterproof and oil-retadant.
